You are welcome to join a boat trip on the water area of the southern part of Kenozero lake. Here, far from the bustle of the city, you will discover the wonderful world of the Kenozero villages with carefully preserved chapels, many of which preserved famous Kenozero painted «heavens», with crosses, with grannies still remembering old songs and fairy tales. This world is full of legends and is shrouded in mysteries: why each village has its own order of houses, what power «sacred» trees possess, why it is impossible to make noise in the «holy» grove, whether the village has its heavenly patron, what is «rostan» and why did they install memorial crosses? You will see the nineteenth century chapel of Saint Blaise and the alley of junipers on Medvezhy island(Bear island) — the largest island of the Park, then you will visit the eighteenth century chapel of the Apostle John in the village Zekhnovo, and in the village of Tyryshkino — the nineteenth century «Cross» chapel (the smallest chapel in Russia) and the chapel of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa.
