Chapel the Cross

Chapel the Cross

Chapel The Cross is located near the village in the sacred spruce grove, by the road that ran along the shore of the lake and connected coastal villages. A rare example of a case-shaped chapel for a worship of the Cross. Perhaps the existing chapel replaced the earlier one in the second half of the 20th century. It is almost square in plan, its small frame construction is covered by two slopes on four pillars.

The pillars are sheathed with horizontal boards. The entrance facade of the chapel is decorated with carved boards. Inside there was an ancient wooden carved cross (now it is in the Museum's fund of the Park).
